A really unique and interesting image, like taking a step back in time at first glance. I love how the sunlight brought out the tones and details here and the crayfish who added the perfect finishing touch. Very artistic and well done, Yves.

Cool shot Yves. Even with a mud bottom the water is so clear. I can just picture the cloud of mud as he burrowed into the silt. Well done.

Thanks for the comment Debra.

Description
Less than two feets of water. Clear water with just some gentle waves moving at the surface. Good sunlight of the mid-morning. I found very interesting the light paterns moving on the river bed. It reminds me some psychadelic art of the 70's. I was about to capture the piece of art when a crayfish entered the scene from the right. He walked a little, stop in front of me and made a big cloud of dirt that fell back on him to make him almost disapear. This is their stategy to avoid being eated by seagull.
